By embracing a learner-centered approach, educators are equipped with the tools they need to transform their teaching practices. The initiative’s webinars and micro-courses provide valuable opportunities for professional development and foster collaboration. The webinar series focuses on enhancing critical thinking and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) skills.
💡 Educators who participate in these webinars gain a deeper understanding of critical thinking,
💡 Learn to design instruction using UDL principles,
💡 Develop critical thinking skills in their students,
💡 Learn how to assess those skills effectively.
The webinar sessions are thoughtfully designed to cover a range of topics.
Session 1, titled “Developing Critical Thinking Skills,” explores different levels of thinking and offers strategies for teaching critical thinking. Educators will also learn effective ways to assess critical thinking skills in their students. This session lays a solid foundation for building critical thinking skills in the classroom.
Session 2, “Applying Critical Thinking and UDL to Teaching,” focuses on meeting the needs of all learners and showcases how UDL can be effectively integrated into teaching practices. Educators will gain practical insights and examples of UDL in action, allowing them to create inclusive learning environments that support the success of every student. The webinar series concludes with a reflection session, providing an opportunity for educators to evaluate their learning and set goals for future growth.
By joining the MetaMorphED initiative, educators become part of a thriving community in the MENA region. The initiative offers a platform for like-minded individuals to connect, access professional development resources, and share best practices. Through collaboration and collective expertise, educators can contribute to the transformation of education in the region.
